About Mahjo

Mahjo is a multiplayer Mahjong game available on iOS and Android. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Mahjo app and our website at playmahjo.com. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Mahjo app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mahjo. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 13, you are not permitted to create an account or use the service.

Accounts

• You sign in to Mahjo via Google or Apple authentication. Mahjo does not store your password directly.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it.
• Mahjo reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice.

Subscription and Billing

• Mahjo offers a 7-day free trial giving full access to all features. No payment is taken during the trial period.
• After the trial ends, a paid subscription is required to continue playing.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your platform. Pricing is clearly displayed before you subscribe.
• To cancel your subscription, you must do so through the relevant app store — Apple App Store or Google Play — not directly through Mahjo.
• No refunds are provided except where required by applicable law or the relevant app store's refund policy.
• Mahjo reserves the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice.

Acceptable Use

When using Mahjo, you agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use any unauthorised methods to manipulate game outcomes.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other players.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app in any way.

Mahjo reserves the right to remove any user who violates these rules at its sole discretion, without refund.

Multiplayer and User Interaction

• Mahjo allows players to join games together via shared room codes.
• You can report other players for misconduct directly from within the game.
• Mahjo is not responsible for the conduct of other users, but we will investigate valid reports and take appropriate action.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and code within Mahjo are owned by or licensed to Mahjo. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our express written permission.

Disclaimers

• Mahjo is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available service.
• Mahjo is not responsible for any loss of data, game progress, or other losses arising from technical issues or service interruptions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mahjo's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Mahjo after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
